Description of activity: Students imagine the following situation: they are organising a Christmas Dinner Party and have invited 11 people. There will be three languages spoken around the table and some of the invited people are not fond of each other. Decide about an ideal seating plan considering spoken languages, interests and avoid conflicts.
There are more acceptable possibilities, so no answer key is included. The aim of the task is to make students talk, discuss, convince each other.
