Target language: lexical items related to measurements (length, width, height, thickness, weight), numbers (also decimal numbers), comparatives and superlative forms for the related adjectives (short-long, heavy-light, high/tall-short, wide-narrow, distant-close), classroom objects

Description of activity:

For this activity, you will need measuring bands or rulers and scales. Students first work individually and measure/weigh the items on their list. Then ask three of their classmates about the dimensions of their objects and finally, compare them.

The task revises names of classroom objects indirectly.
