A1-A2: Spelling Error Hunt Worksheets

Type: collaborative task (1 page to be cut in half for Student A&B, PDF format)

Target language: spotting and correcting spelling mistakes

Description of activities: Students work in pairs and get a list of ten sentences. Five of these contain a spelling mistake. First, they work individually and try to find and correct the mistakes.

In a second round, they compare their solutions with their partner’s, who has mistakes in the other five sentences (this way, one of them has the correct version of each sentence).
