A1 Speaking Worksheet: Siblings are different

(0 review)

Age: 12-100

ESL Level: CEFR A1

Type: collaborative tasks (1-page in PDF format to be printed and cut into two halves)

Target language: present simple (positive and negative form)

Description of activities: Students compare two siblings, Henry and Beth and find similarities and differences in their habits, (dis)likes, interests, etc.

Put your students in pairs and give them the worksheet cut in half. Ask them not to show their sibling to their partner, but describe him/her instead. The other student needs to understand if his/her sibling is similar or different.

Finish the activity with an open-class feedback session where you list all differences.
